I built MommaTrip under Good Gary Apps LLC, in memory of my grandmother — she's the "Momma" in MommaTrip. She's the one who turned family trips into the memories that stuck with me. So I built the family trip planner I wish my parents had had: an AI-powered planner that plans around your kids — their ages, nap windows for the little ones, the pace a real family day can handle — so a trip feels less like logistics and more like time together.

The flight plan behind the brand

Before there was an app, there was a plane.

My grandparents were mission aviators — pilots who flew small planes into jungle airstrips, carrying people and supplies to places no road reached. Both of them logged those flights for years and wrote books about what they saw.

You plan around who's actually flying.

You don't fly into a jungle airstrip by guessing. Every seat, every pound of fuel, every hour of daylight gets worked out before the wheels leave the ground. When the people on board are a family, the math changes again — a flight plan built for one adult doesn't hold up for a two-year-old who needs a nap, a kid who gets airsick, or parents who need a free hand.

That's the idea behind Poppa Trip and Momma Trip — two matched trip planners built from that instinct. Poppa Trip plans for one traveler, a couple, or friends without kids. Momma Trip plans with the whole family on board: kids' ages accounted for, nap windows on the schedule for the little ones, and a backup plan for the day that goes sideways.
